Plasma Etching

The PolyMedex plasma etching process improves the potential bond strength to the outer surface of polymer tubing components. The improved bond strength may be realized by pad printing, coextrusion, or adhesive bonding in final device assembly.

Hydrophilic Coating

To reduce the coefficient of friction on the outer surface of polymer tubing components, PolyMedex applies a biocompatible coating customized for the substrate polymer for optimal lubricity and durability.
